The Second Day March 28, 2014

Friday was my second time meeting with my mentor. He showed up a little late, so while I waited I sat on the luxurious massage chair the Dr. Cheng sat in, on Monday. This massage chair was amazing to say the least, while relaxing I was hoping that today would be busy so I could see Dr. Cheng do his work. Once my mentor showed up he said that I'd be breaking down files until one of his patients showed up.To be honest I got a little bored breaking down files, its really tedious. But then things started getting a busy needless to say I got excited. I am not able to give any information because everything is confidential (sadly). I was intrigued by the different techniques he used to crack some joints. After watching Dr. Cheng work on a couple patients I got back to breaking down files. I'm excited for my next job which is for Dr. Cheng to try some of his techniques on me. I'm thinking, it'll be a bit painful after hearing some people's bones crack but I'm ready for it.

The First Day March 24, 2014

Monday was my first day with Dr. Cheng (my mentor). I wasn't sure what to expect because I've never been to a chiropractic office. When I got there, we discussed a regular schedule of what days we would meet. I was nervous, but when Dr. Cheng sat in his massage chair, the atomosphere of the office felt welcoming. We talked about what we would be doing for my hours. He gave me tour around the building, he showed me the machines he used. He also introduced me to a couple of workers. I guess it was a slow day because he had no scheduled appointments. To be honest I was hoping to see him in action I guess that'll have to wait until next time. He had me break down old files that needed scanning. I was feeling a little overwhelmed because there was a big stack of files that I had to break down. His son (a student at Monte Verde Elementary School) stopped by. We talked a little about school, he is really cool kid. I guess Dr. Cheng could tell I was a little exhausted from breaking down files so he gave me some chocolate milk, which was really refreshing. I'm excited for my next meet. Hopefully, I get to see Dr.Cheng do his thing.
